It’d be great if there’s a way for us to upload a PDF pattern and Ribblr auto creates the pattern. (Vs. us having to manually add all of the info ourselves).
Unless this is already a feature and I’m missing something.

I think you can download a pdf, but it has to be a pattern you created. I’ve done that in the past.
I’ve never tried it, but when you create a new pattern, Ribblr asks if it’s a new or existing design, and I think that’s how you import a PDF!
Thanks! That makes sense.
For clarity, I was asking about the option to auto generate a pattern from a PDF. ![]()
Though this is good to know about downloading patterns!
The phrasing of that button is decieving. You’re not actually uploading the PDF, you have to copy and paste the pattern line-by-line, unfortunately.
Thank you though! ![]()
Hi there!
You don’t have to copy it line by line. You can use our quick copy and paste feature:
Thanks! This works Sometimes. Sometimes it splits it up as it should. Often times if there’s a line in the pattern with a lot of text, it thinks it’s multiple lines and it’s a pain to have re-do in rebuild.
For context, I’m chronically ill and have energy limiting illness so having things automated works well for me!
Yes! Gotta conserve those spoons My family says tickets. It was around the fair time and I was trying to explain it to my kids. When the tickets are out they are out. They didn’t understand why I had spoons in the first place lol gotta love the literal mind. We are all neurospicy and I couldn’t figure out spoons til I read the story either. My 2nd oldest likes hit points. Lol
Haha tickets and hit points. Whatever resonates works!
I think I also had to read / learn the story to understand. I’m the same way with other idioms, I need to know the etiology.
Idioms get me all the time. They make absolutely no sense to me. I think it’s the au part of my AuDHD
My husband uses them all the time and as soon as I ask he knows what he has done. Lol It is a family joke now. Half the family is spicy so it happens regularly. I think I should have studied linguistics instead of psychology and therapy. Lol
Thanks for sharing and sorry for the delay in replying to you! We are working on automated tool - with no clear timeline yet but it’s in the pipeline ![]()
