Maybe a new tag for “#inspiration” would be helpful. Could be on the “I don’t know what to crochet”, “what pattern should I make next”, and the “I’m bored” posts. An automatic tag would be awesome. As long as we can change it if it got it wrong. Hard to find other posts with all of them there. Please?

I completely agree! The pattern wiki was supposed to help reduce these posts but I don’t think most people even know it exists.

Thanks! These need to have the tag need-ideas - feel free to add it if you come across such posts - we do welcome those, in moderation, but people need to use appropriate tags and spaces.

Ooh, yes. need-ideas would do it. But, can’t you do it automatically? haha. You(s) are great. I have been enjoying some of the past fixes already implemented. I forgot which ones, or I would mention them. #oldbrain

Not effectively, as we see it now, since many different types of posts can fall into it.
However, ultimately it’s everyone’s duty to follow the community guidelines and keep the spaces tidy, so we can keep it fun and inclusive - we may need to remind people to use appropriate tags, sometime an additional ten seconds to properly tag a post before posting does make a big difference!
