Is Search supposed to work?

I’m trying to browse patterns via the Search tab, and nothing is loading. Just a perpetual loading screen with blank pattern squares. I can click on patterns from the home page, but when I click on a tag to see more related items, just a loading screen going nowhere. I have fast internet.

It’s probably just a glitch. Log out and log back in or reload the page. If that doesn’t work then it’s a glitch that will last a few hours maybe.

Try one of these:
Logout and back in
Reset your device

Maybe try reloading the page and if that doesn’t work exit the search and app/website. If that doesn’t work, exit the app, wait 10 seconds, and turn it on and re enter. Or log out than log back in

If this happens again please reach out to us with the search term and if possible a quick screen grab. It shouldn’t lag or be broken in any way.

Saw this by chance but for whatever reason I’ve been having a lot of issues in the last couple of weeks too. It’s intermittent and happens searching or even reordering (so going from recently used to newest, etc. similar issues at times with regular search and changing between options there too) my own patterns as well as general search and once or twice I’ve had issues on a shops page if it’s someone with a lot of patterns.

I’ve been a regular user (though never had a paid membership) of Ribblr for the last few years now but this is a recent thing. Sometimes nothing happens at all when I do one of the above things. Like I’ve clicked to change the order but I don’t even get the reloading thing. Usually force closing the app and reopening it works but I’ve had a couple of times in the last few days where even doing that I very quickly was right back to having issues.

Definitely seems to be an issue with there being a lot of anything. So I have tons of patterns in my collection. Someone else commented with issues with search phrase “cat” which obviously is a term with tons of results. As I said too- seen it happen on shop pages when it’s shop with a lot of patterns. So I’m not super tech inclined but hope that helps your tech support folks some.

If it matters or helps any, I’m on an iPhone (and an older one, iPhone 11).
