Is this crochet?

Does anyone have an idea if this is crochet or some other fiber craft? It is a hotpad my mom has.

They are woven, but I cannot find any instructions on how to actually do it.

I’m not sure if this hot pad is weaving or crochet, but it looks a lot like the Jasmine Stitch.

I would say you could do this with the Jasmine/star stitch. With a line of green crocheted on the surface.

Not too sure. For me, the back does look like the front tho… (cuz they look like little flowers! :sunflower:)

It looks like a variation of jasmine stitch and then she has like slip stitched somehow with green over the top :blush:

It almost looks like the jasmine stitch with a line of green carries along the back and used to make little stitches for the center along the way
