So I’ve been wanting to do tapestries for my room, and was wondering if it was ok if I turned a pixel art I found online and post it as a pattern? I won’t be able to do my own rn (on vacation) so I’d get extra testers. It would be free no matter how complicated as it’s not my art. If I make my own I’ll probably have it payed cause I spent time on the art! Ok anyways sorry that was so long! Opinions?
Hmm, I’m not quite sure, though I’m leaning a little towards no because tapestry crochet is mainly the pixel art, not much design is put into the shape and stuff. Maybe you could try to get permission from the artist ?
Good idea! I’ll probably just make my own, I’m drawing something I hope to turn into pixel art rn :3 (idk how to find the artist as I found these all on Pinterest so I’ll probably just go with this drawing I’m doing)
I don’t think you could do it with art you find online because someone else had to make it and it wouldn’t be fair to use it, but if you get permission from the artist you could.
If you draw you can probably pixelate it on a drawing or editing program btw!
Ok ty!!
Any iOS apps you’d recommend for this?
Ooh, I’m excited to see how that’d look as crochet! great job!
