If you move your yarn up and down your hook and it doesn’t make a sound then it’s not too tight.

I do mine looked like that. It depends what Tunisian stitch your doing.

Hmm, i crocheted through one loop of the V, and it was 1000x easier.
I’ve been trying to do TSS for over a year! Always too tight. I just realized I had been doing the forward pass in the back bar of the chain.

I usually start my work in the back of the chain. It only seems a bit tight to start with, after a couple of rows it looks normal (plus the bottom looks neater in my opinion).
