I can’t even remember the last time I was active on here. I know the last post I made was about lack of crochet inspiration, and I’m still struggling to find projects I’m excited about. I’ve been really busy studying Japanese and have 12 hours of dance a week. I guess I’ve just been too busy for crochet. I’m going to try to get back into it. Maybe you could make like amigurumi of your favorite characters from games/shows/whatever? Like maybe because it’s part of something you’re interested in, that it’ll be more fun to work on and give some motivation?

That’s how it goes when you study +12 hours day. When 12 to 16 hours of studying a day was my normal for the last +3 years . I recently changed school arrangements. I’m just like I had hobbies???

Hi hi! Sorry to hear of your lack of motivation, but remember it is meant to be for your enjoyment. So don’t feel pressured to crochet right now if you just don’t want right now… It’ll always be there whenever you are ready (time or motivation/desire)…
Your bag turned out super cute, and that’s a perfect example of crochet is there when you are ready for it… You saw a need/want and had the motivation to make it, nothing more is expected from you

Pretty good! I’ve learned a lot since I’ve last updated. I’m still a little nervous to speak, but I’m getting there. I’ve already spoken to cashiers and stuff, but speaking around my classmates and friends really freaks me out 
today I learned a few new words and read a little bit of Japanese. My goal is to have some conversations in Japanese hopefully this month

Your embroidery looks awesome! Echoing what others have said about not feeling pressured to crochet, especially if it just adds stress. If I may make a suggestion (based on similar experiences of losing motivation due to life circumstance): it looks like you’re being creative in other ways (with your embroidery), so absolutely lean into that if you’re finding enjoyment and inspiration with that hobby! Perhaps you just need a little break or to work with a different medium before finding your crojo again. Regardless of the craft (or if taking a break), we will be here to cheer you on! 
Also I’m so impressed with your language learning and dancing at the same time; sounds like a full schedule!

Im so glad to heard that! I completely understand!!! My family is italian, so i have been surrounded by it all my life, but never have had the need to speak it! So when i was in italy i could talk to anyone that didnt knew me, but to my family?! No way

” and I’m definitely playing on doing more embroidery. I’d like to make more of those tote bags. I need to figure out what to do with my yarn. We had to vacuum seal it and all of the yarn is a disaster
