So it says that I have seven new messages even though when I click on my inbox it doesn’t have anything new…

Oh and also very rarely it doesn’t show that and my shop followers go to 513
so when it says that I have 7 notifications I have 520 followers and when it doesn’t show it then I have 513

Try logging out and logging in it could be a glitch :)

It’s due to the cache on the app. Data is stored and sometimes when you change pages, it leads old data like old follower count or old unread messages count. If you close and reopen the app, it clears that cache and you won’t see the old data. But it will continuously happen as you use the app and don’t close it for periods of time. It’s normal for a lot of tech to store a cache of data.
I noticed you’re on browser. It does the same. Do you ever close the tab and reopen? Cause that will cause old data to stay as well if you keep using the same tab or don’t close your browser app every once in a while
