Ive seen this as a problem happening multiple times and its happened to me multiple times, is there something that can be done about people just randomly adding others to test their patterns? I dont even think i saw a tester call for the one i was added in so its not like i just accidently clicked join test. If i leave the tester my karma takes a hit, there needs to be a double verification. You ask to join, pattern maker accepts you , and you confirm you wanna join.
Contact ribblr they should be able to help you there is always a chance it was a accident and I agree you should have double verification good suggestion
Ive messaged the person and ribblr, i would write it off as a mistake but they’ve done this 3 times now for each of the patterns they’ve done
Do they have you as one of their ‘all pattern testers’? if so, then you’ll get added to every one they make, even if they don’t ‘choose’ you and you don’t apply. They should just be able to remove you. chances are if its the same person, that’s why its happening.
Just opt out of testing of those pattern i guess or DM the person to stop making u test.
That would be on them to change though correct?
By optting out my karma drops which isnt fair since everyone works hard for their karma
You are correct. They would need to remove you from there. Not sure if Ribblr could do it on your behalf?
tag Ribblr and add this topic to Suggestions
I htink it would be support, not suggestions?
Hopefully they can, and that needs to be changed, to be added as an all pattern tester it should be agreed upon by both parties
Absolutely. Not fair to someone to keep being added without consent.
True. If it keeps happening 20+ times, perhaps report the user or smth, idk honestly.
The fact that this issue hasnt been adressed and people have been having this problem before with other designers and we’ve all been crying out to ribblr to change it shows how much of an issue it is
@Ribblr please help us
Hopefully Ribblr changes it
Ive changed the topic to support so hopefully something can be done about this
Ok cross your fingers!
Please contact us privately with the name of the pattern/designer, and we’ll sort it out for you.
