The details
-There are 5 boot-style slippers, these are a completely different construction than my previous slippers, and (obviously) themed.
-2 of these can be done by an experienced beginner (mild), 1 is bordering on intermediate (zesty), and 2 will need some concentration (spicy)
-You will be randomly assigned a pattern, based on the level you specify
-You will have 24 hours from the time I announce the test has begun to open a journal, or you will be removed from the testing, I’m being firm on this one.
-You are free to work the pattern in any color you wish
-You are free to request another pattern to test, once you have completed the assigned pattern.
-You will be gifted any pattern you complete.
-“Complete” will require a finished public journal and a photo uploaded in this post.(unless you have a good reason why you cannot)
-These are written for worsted, but I can help you make adjustments if needed. These are a fairly quick project. (no more than one day/pair)
-As always, I will answer all questions and address all issues, please feel free to message me.
I would like to start as soon as I have 10 testers and be ready to publish Friday or Monday.
Please add your preferred level (reference above) to your reply.
Hi! I would love to test. I can do any level for you.
Edit: I totally understand the testing - journal policy - I’m often forgetful about making journals (or I just do them when I finished the pattern) and this will help me make more of them!
I have time today so I could do it right now, but overall I’m flexible
I can test for experienced beginner (mild)!
only because I can’t keep up, I like to start them all at the same time, but I’ll start passing them out early if I don’t have enough testers when I get back from the dentist in the morning
You know I’m willing to do any, hahaha!
If you want to wait for what we discussed before, I’m good with that too
that is going to be a while, there is so much work to be done on it
Oh, I meant the slippers. I’d love to join this.
Ah, yes… I remember now
I would be interested in testing for you.
i would love to test for you!
these look so fun! haha
i am overall an experienced crocheter (spicy) but I’ve never made slippers lol, shouldn’t be too hard
i know there is a 24 hours after the announcement of the test’s beginning, but i am really forgetful so please remind me in case i don’t and i will!
i want to say for now that i have paralysis problems (which means i sometimes get paralysed, wether it’s fully or half or just barely being able to move) and the past week has been hell. I will let you know if my body gets blocked or something
other than that, i have a mini vacation so i should have time
My hand feels pretty much healed (I hurt it semi recently) and as long as I keep up my break till whenever you announce… I should be good
I believe Ive improved enough that I should be able to do any of the patterns
if worried you can keep me in beginner/easy/intermediate
Experience level?
@NoKittenAroundStudio , @AlainaRae , @Wendywo745 , @CrochetAddictHere , @AiyetFelisAgrus You should each have your assignment, I can’t wait to see them!
I am down to test; I’m fairly sure I’m capable of any level (though definitely at least intermediate), so I’ll take whatever you haven’t been able to fill, if you’ll have me or need use of me.
Edit: I see you have quite a few testers at the ready, but if you need any backups I can do that, too
I have decided to dole them out in groups of five, so you will be in the second group as soon as I get 3 more volunteers, or get tired of waiting, whichever comes first
Got it; sounds great!
Check your patterns, you should have one now
I want at least two makes for each pattern, so I’m ok with however it happens
I see it; will get started later this evening.
Lol, to save time…
My slippers do not have row gauges, that is on purpose, trust the pattern.
