Journal Photos Upload

I think uploading photos onto ribblr should be changed. It should show you what portions of the image it will crop out or maybe automatically do it for you when editing the photo. I don’t understand why or how it crops the photos into squares if it allows you to edit the photo as a rectangle. Even when I resize the image or make it into a square, the app still cuts off a good portion of the image. I’m not sure if anyone else is having this issue but ribblr also makes my photos blurry on journals no matter how many times I resize it. Fortunately, photos won’t be blurred at all when I upload it on a post or dms. I hope this issue gets fixed! Uploading a photo onto a journal feels like a guessing game every time and it makes the process more difficult as I’ll have to retake multiple times just for the photo to fit the frame. I hope that uploading photos and journals will be revamped soon ^^

Thanks! We’ve made a note of that. To fit it into the screen, we focus on the center of the image so please for now make sure that is where your object is.

I agree! The entire journal-making setup is kinda janky imo

Yes, I hate when programs / webpages / apps ‘do it for you’!
This is a huge pet peeve of mine. If I wanted it cropped, I would have done it myself.

And while browsing on Ribblr, it’s annoying seeing so many cut off images. I don’t want to have to click each one to see the whole thing!

It would also be nice if the edit page noted the dimensions (how many pixels for the height & width) for optimal image posting.
