So I was thinking what if people could make more than one journal for a pattern!
Why I think making more than one journal for a pattern is useful and fun!:
Adding multiple separate journals per pattern on ribblr would let makers showcase diverse colour ways, yarn types, and unique sylistic variations for a single design!
This feature helps the community visualize endless creative possibilities and provides designers with rich, varied project inspiration.
To protect designers from clutter or spam, a sensible cap of three separate journals per person per pattern strikes the ideal balance. This limit keeps project feeds organized, prevents overwhelm, while still giving enthusiastic makers enough room to display their distinct finished pieces.
So what do you guys think!

I mean , you can take a picture of all the iterations in the same frame and then describe them in the journal

I guess you could do that but it would be much better to make seperate journals for them!

I was just thinking about this the other day as well.
I would love to be able to make separate journals for each new project I make with the same pattern! Especially for patterns like one I just tested, where it was several mini Amigurumi animals all in one pattern. I tested two, but if I go back and make the ones I haven’t made yet I wouldn’t want my original journal altered.
Each new make showing up separately on your profile would be very appreciated, especially for other highly customizable patterns!

I think that’s a great idea! I have made multiple of the same pattern and would love to be able to support the pattern designer by posting multiple journals for my different makes! I think this is also a good way to see how your crochet skills have improved over time!

I agree this is a good idea, but please try not to tag Ribblr multiple times in the same topic if nothing has changed — especially in such a short period of time. I understand that you want them to check this out now, but every day, they have to review all of the flags, support topics, tech tickets, etc. so please give them some time to respond. Especially right now, when they are trying to fix the recent glitches with the platform and chat, which must be their priority since it, plus the features they had to disable, are affecting so many people.

Yes, in hindsight, that’s probably the better option.
It keeps things a little tidier and uncluttered. Especially with those patterns that are very popular.
