Kamari— Moon

Hi all! My friends new baby boy has arrived and she has named him Kamari which means moon. My problem is which moon shape would go well on a small lovey? I thought a full moon no face but with surface crochet of crater circles then it was mentioned that a crescent moon shap might be easier for him to hold. Any suggestions? Pattern are always welcome​:grin:

This is what I came up with I would appreciate any advice or tips to have made this better? I didn’t use a pattern I freehand it.

I think that the crescent moon would be super cute! congrats to your friend for a new baby!!!

A baby is always a blessing.
I found a link, it has several to choose from, but the blue one is my pick. I also added need-ideas and crochet for better sorting :blush:
