Hey all, I’ve put together a small group for a collab. My husband challenged his class to draw some kaiju from a book and I challenged them to add a theme. They went with nature/elements.
I’ve got a lot of designs so I’m looking at adding a couple more people to the collab but I’m gonna be a little picky here on who I add. Some of the designs are pretty detailed and complex while a few are more simple.
I’d ideally like it to be done by the end of the year but there’s no rush. Designers will test and release as they finish. Maybe when everyone is done we can show them off in a vote but I won’t hold up the designs with that.
If you’d like to apply, I’d like to see something you’ve designed or a pattern you modified to make your own If you haven’t designed a pattern quite yet, I’ll also accept makes that you think have helped you learn a lot in order to develop your own pattern.
These are all patterns I’ve created! If you can’t tell I’m a bit obsessed with Jellycats lol . Also these are being tested just an fyi but they have all been working well! Oh and one more thing, I didn’t edit my photos @Crocheeeeet did!
Wow, what a great idea. I’d love to participate in testing. A few weeks ago, I crocheted a Mickey Mouse based on an AI picture and even wrote some instructions for it.
I have also done a windspinner jellyfish. Taught me the importance of stitch count and tension. It was scary. The cow taught me different stitches to use and helped me prefect my tension. The zombie bear prefected my sewing and showed me how to use my creation. The design is more of guidelines. Kit taught me how to do color changes. I have only been crocheting for a few months but love taking on more challenging projects. I am a perfectionist at heart and will not move forward until it’s just right.
