Hello! I keep seeing lovely patterns for Highland cows, but I can’t find that rusty brown, red color in a chunky yarn. What type of yarn are y’all using???

Hey there. I do not know if this will help, but I LOVE Highland cows and crocheted one not too long ago. I made it chunky and used the Bernat blanket brown (picture attached). I hope this helped. I know how hard it is to find a good color of yarn. This yarn is more on the orange side, but my cow looks very adorable with it. Good luck!

I use Big Twist plush in the color cardimum, I personally hate that yarn (don’t hate me) but it has the perfect color which is hard to find.

Totally get it, I’m so picky about what chunky yarn I use but I suppose I’ll suffer through it if I like the color enough lol.
