damn okay-
roses are red
violets are blue
but there's plenty of lies
so I'll tell you what's true
some roses are purple
some violets are too
but why stereotype flowers?
it's a petty thing to do
except people are petty
and afraid of the truth:
that everything's changing
and there's nothing we can do
so instead we sit here
watching life pass is by,
saying goodbyes to loved ones
if only there was more time
1 more minutes, 1 more seconds
or if u told me in advance
I could've prepared for this heartache
and except we had no chance
but no, life's not fair
so whatever shall we do?
write poems, stereotype flowers
and hope that's the pain doesn't show through
