Made something useful from waste pt.2

Hii:waving_hand:
Hope you’re doing well…
I wanted to share my recent creation

:sparkles:A lil rug made from old socks:sparkles:

Context

So 4 context, I had a lot of unusable socks which were either very stretched out, or had holes in them. So I cut all of them into stripes, and crocheted with it like normal yarn using 8mm hook. It took me about 2ish hrs to crochet, don’t ask about how much time it took to cut the socks into yarn. Anyways now I have a lil rug to put under my study table & I love it.
And if you’re worried about your used socks being gross, you can just throw them in wash with some strong detergent or & they’ll be nicely clean & good to work with.

I’m posting this project in hopes to (maybe) inspire you to create from seemingly useless things & to show that art (in every form) can be accessible:heart:, & you can also reduce the stuff that goes into landfills:heart:
Ps : Plz ignore the bad quality of pic I took it as soon as I completed it.
Ps.2 : If you want to, you can ask anything about this project, or if you want the pattern I can write it, just tell me.
Ps.3 : Happy Pride Month:rainbow_flag:
