Magic scrap yarn balls

Who else uses their scraps?
I use pretty much all of them.

I make magic balls with Russian join and knot together tiny scraps with a magic knot.

I just love wild colors :smiley:

I know magic knot (I use it all the time) but I’m curious, what’s Russian join?

Best google it fir a video (I can’t post a link here),
But you basically ‘weave’ two ends together.

I have done that with cotton yarn, into a big potholder. Left the ends scrappy too. I love it.
