Makeup Brush

I’m making play makeup for my grand daughter. Can anyone suggest a stitch to use that would be the brush bristles? Maybe loops?

Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like the consensus is that you make a tassel and affix it inside the handle like a real brush

That’s a great idea!

I agree with @anon5108995 tassel

For the tassel, I would try a twisted fringe. Youtube?

I would say to make chains (and make a tassel out of the end tail of each chain)! Loop stitch would also work! There’s so many options lol! I hope this helps, though! Have a wonderful day!

I found this awhile back and maybe you could chain some at the end of the makeup brush (or just leave yarn strands) and use that brush (I use a dog brush I got at my local dollar tree) and comb it to give a fur like brushy bristle look

I was thinking of a loop stitch. But the tassel sounds like a great option.
