Making my first wearable pattern

Hi y’all I’m so nervous about making my first ever wearable pattern.

I’ve been crocheting 12 yrs and can’t believe I’ve never made a basic sweater pattern.

I’m nervous cause idk how it’ll turn out or if I’ll even like it, but so far it seems ok

How do I get past this never ending feeling of uneasiness while making something?

Thanks! Are you designing your own?

I’ve made several cardigans before but just followed a pattern. The last one I did I semi followed a pattern

Once you love it, it will help. I love making ones to fit me. But made to fit ones for someone else ??? Yuck.

I’m winging it, it is very similar to the @PassioknitGoods one, she has it in her Youtube channel.

just make it and if you don’t like it, frog it and use the yarn for something else!

I feel that. Just gotta trust my process. I agree yuk for making things to fit anyone else, even when I have their measurements

I just didn’t like how it fit. Took out the seams and might try and flip the pattern and try that. But for now it’s gonna sit here
