I’d really like to crochet a sort of margiela mask for my friends birthday as they’re a big fan of them but Im having some trouble with the pattern and how to create that shape. Does anyone have any general ideas on how I could go about it?

After looking up what the heck they even are, I’m not sure you can crochet one. At least not one that is either safe or comfortable to wear. They are made of a very specific base for a very specific reason and you can not replicate it in yarn

I read a couple of articles, a crochet one would be safer as the models were complaining that the jewels were falling into their mouth.
