Math is hard

Can someone help me understand crochet math  i am breaking my brain trying to write up this pattern. And im not sure what the formula is ( google is no help) i have 102 stitches in a round, i am doing a sc, inc how many times in a round would that be repeated? Would it be 51? Or 34? Idk my math aint mathing i should probably get some sleep.

It would be repeated 51 times cause it’s just half of the amount of stitches!

So here’s how I help my crochet math .
Sc = 1 (cause it takes only one stitch to make)
Inc = 1 (cause it takes only one stitch to make
Dec = 2 (cause it takes up 2 stitches to make)

Examples
2sc, 1inc =3
1sc,1dec = 3
1sc, 1inc =2
And then some.

Sooo if you needed to repeat 1sc, 1 Inc you would so

102 divided by 2 = 51
Sooo its (1sc, inc)*51
But if you needed to Dec
102 divided by 3 is 34
So that’s (1sc, Dec)*34

I hope this makes sense? I’m really bad with math so this is the only way I could make sense of it lol
(1sc, 1dec)

I would take your final stitch count and divide it by 3… right? Bc each set of sc + inc would be 3 sts.
EDIT: NVM

As sweet tomato said it’s 51! And the stitch count once you do the sc, Inc, round is gonna be 153 stitches!

I got 98% on my state math test which means I’m very good at math BECAUSE a 50-70% score means you are average (I got 1 answer wrong )

But I don’t like math very much

Idk what that means but cool :] I’m a grade or two above grade level in school (classes), and a grade or two (or maybe 3) above that outside of it. Okay, we should prolly stop and not turn this into a chat! I hate math tho.

The reason the scores are different than normal math tests is because they through harder math questions in there to test you so it’s okay if you don’t get them right!

Ohh, so basically like I-ready and M-step
