My tip is to start making squares first just so you get the hang of it then to make patterns that tend to make larger plushies (hopefully that makes sense) then work your way down to smaller ones

You can legit do anything in Micro:pink_heart::heart_hands: just use a smaller hook and thread :sparkles: any pattern can be micro or normal depending on the yarn and hook size, no changes needed :heart_hands:

Here some of my micro projects, all with weight 10 thread and a 1.5mm hook, except for the spider :spider:, he’s done with sewing thread and a 0.8mm hook.:heart_hands::pink_heart:

I would LOVE to help! I have been doing micro for a while now, and can give lots of tips!
-try reading glasses, it zooms in a lil bit to help you see.
-try to avoid dark colors. Black yarn is hard enough as it is, imagine using it micro!!
-sewing thread and a 0.75mm hook makes animals smaller than your fingertip!
-Use a light! It is impossible to make micros in the dark…
-be patient, if you are struggling, don’t give up! It takes time to master.

If you need anything else or have questions PLEASE dm me! I can help. Good luck! Btw, heres some of my micros.

Aww thanks! :pink_heart:

Well, only tip I can give you is to have lots of patience, and any pattern can be mini if you choose the right hook and yarn for it!

This is my baby, made with a 1mm hook and cashmere. The yarn broke multiple times, so you REALLY gotta have a lot of patience! (Also for you own mental sanity, don’t use cashmere or any fragile yarn lmao. Start with the smallest hook you can and go smaller and smaller. If the smallest one you ever used was a 3mm, go 2,5mm or 2mm first)

Oh. My. God. You are my aspiration, I need to get a hook smaller than 1mm so I can make those itty bitty babies too!
