Mohair Yarn.

Okay guys I have taken a small break because of my sickness thingy but I’m back. Okay so the problem I found today (because I have like a million of them) is mohair yarn. So I bought this like a while ago and then shoved it away to never look at it again. Like srsly. I was mentally preparing myself because I alr knew it was thin and stuff but wow my HAIR is thicker than that! (okay maybe not) Anyway my question is probably obvious, I really want to know how I’m supposed to use the yarn. Am I supposed to use a big hook? A small hook? Double layer? And also, what do you think is a good first project for mohair? Thanks! <3

One good suggestion. Get it right the first time :double_exclamation_mark::double_exclamation_mark:

Something wearable, use a size 2-3 mm hook, depending on the design pattern. Beware- it will shed! Whether mohair, angora or a blend, it always sheds. If you have any allergies to fur/ certain things, it might trigger allergies( sister can’t use it/ or wear it). Have fun with it, it is warm.

maybe make a simple project that has minimal stitch counting needs like a small scarf ig? Just to get used to the feel and look of the stitches!
