Ok so when I’m yarn shopping I naturally gravitate towards multi colored yarns but I feel like solid color yarn is more practical. Let me know what you think.

I like pairing a multi yarn with a solid yarn! Like multi for the main color and then solid for the axolotl ear gill things or belly or stem depending on what you’re making!

Yes! Especially for turtles, like the shell multi color and the body solid color!

I have noticed the multi color comes with less yardage per skein. Also, thinner. I do like using it as an accent color.

depends on what im making. if its not amigurumi, i use multi colored

I get both! I have the full rainbow and many shades of solids, but also a large variety of varigated because why not? Who said you can’t make a rainbow dino? The spooky octopus pattern i loves looks way cooler with shifty yarn !
