I finished the beanie! Havenā€™t decided if I wanted to do regular pom poms at the end or make some applique, balls, flowers, etc still deciding

Same, I always dc 3 ch 1 and ch 2 in corners unless Iā€™m using fluffy yarn then I donā€™t chain between corners. I usually do between 10 and 14 rounds depending on yarn size. Honestly I just do as many rounds as it takes to fit my head or finish the color pattern. If itā€™s too big I just do a tighter brim

That doesnā€™t look messed up at all! It could just be your yarn or how many chains youā€™re doing. I love the shape. Could you tell me what youā€™re doing so I can make that shape next? I may stuff the next one I make

I am only doing chains at the points (a chain 2 at the points), which i think it what is to pinch in, I was a bit concerned at first but then i folded it and was like wait, This looks perfect!
