My absolute favorite quick make

If you ever run a market but don’t want to make the same old projects you see at other crochet stands, let me introduce you to Hexagon Jester beanies. You fold the hexagon to the 2nd closest corner and it creates this shape. Add a folding brim and some pom poms and you’re done! Super easy, and I charged $60-65 for each hat. Perfect unique make. Although I recommend slip stitching the brim on rather than sewing, it’s way quicker.

I sold 3/4 at my last house show I vended for. I had multiple people ask if I had red or blue so I’ll definitely make a whole bunch of colors next time!

I definitely will! Did you follow a specific pattern or did you just wing? :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I think I could probably wing it as well, but if you ever decide to post a pattern here and decide to post a tester call I’d definitely love to help test it

OH MY GOD IT IS

commence the search for a hexagon granny pattern

Very easy to make! The process is the exact same for a granny square, but you put 6 clusters in the MR rather than 4!

Maybe I will post a pattern and call for testers! I do feel bad doing that though since it’s such a simple pattern, I would feel like I’m stealing from other artists, just don’t know who :sob:

If it helps you could always decide to add something unique to it, like changing the pom poms to something else/crocheting an applique to add onto the hat, etc, but it’s always up to you! Currently actually crocheting the granny hexagon right now, hopefully it comes out well!
