my least favorite wip

Guys, I know I already posted today, but I have this wip that has been haunting me for like 7 months or something. I really want to finish it but I’m doing ribbing right now and its slip stitches…:sob: It is a collared shirt made with pink cotton yarn.

My brother said it looks like a pillowcase…:skull: (It just needs the sleeves and then maybe it won’t look like a pillowcase…)

So yeah I dunno maybe this post was pointless but you guys got any tips for like, motivation or smth? Thanks. :sparkles:

It’s soooooo cute!!! Idk what you look like, but it would be pretty hard to look bad in that.

My strategy for when I’m doing something monotonous is to listen to music/a podcast/an audiobook so that I’m not bored out of my mind. Or to talk to someone. I’ll talk to friends while I’m crocheting, just as long as I’m not counting stitches.

thanks I’ll try that.

I believe in you, you can finish this!! And then find the confidence to wear it in public. That part’s always hard.

Yeah, I’ve made like 5 wearables and I’ve never really worn them in public, except for my very first one which I still have, maybe I’ll post a picture of it tomorrow.

Augh I donno, I’m in the same spot…I have this project that I’ve basically abandoned-it’s a pretty big project so I already spent hours in it and I’m not even halfway done, to make things even worse it’s velvet yarn so I really don’t want to just frog it and ruin the yarn…just wanted to say that this post reminded me and for some reason your motivation is making me want to work on that project!

Lol wips are honestly the worst. One day I got motivated to make a granny square blanket and now the unfinished blanket is shoved in a tj-maxx bag under my desk. But yeah for sure keep working on yours! I believe in you!.

Aw thank you for the kind words! It’s crazy how one day I only have one project and one week later I have seven…

Uff it’s brutal how that happens.

7 months… thats nothing… i had half a scarf thrown in the corner for 2 years….

i just frogged it the other day….. don’t be me..

i recomend not throwing it in a corner to forget about, I enjoy telling people about stuff i am working on it kinda inspires me to finish it so even just posting it like this may help you.
