It came out really well! I’ve also done patterns where sometimes they forget to mention the eyes and even stuffing mentioning them at the end, but I do catch on before thankfully
it’s good you did too since it came out nice 
I know some patterns also mention the eyes after the head/body is finished, like they want to glue eyes on later or something but the eyes kinda got the backings for a reason though
Kinda annoys me in patterns sometimes but I guess that’s mostly because I can’t have the eyes secured with glue without it being a mess or they fall out later
