So I did not think of this before, but when testing is finished, do I include a tester appreciation in the pdf? What if people don’t want to be known on other platforms? Do I ask them? What if they don’t respond?
Also, I’m not sure how you gift them the pattern.
I’m very stuck, please help me out if you can!

I’ve seen a few PDF patterns and some have the tester appreciation included. I think you should ask your testers if they’re comfortable with their pictures shown in the pattern first! 
As far as gifting the pattern, you should see a “gift pattern” under each tester. As far as including testers in the pdf, their journals will be seen by the community here on Ribblr with the pattern itself. So not sure it would be necessary to include the testers in the pdf. If you are planning on using the pdf outside of Ribblr, that would make a difference of whether or not they would was to be included and would be appropriate to ask their permission first as @SugarSTUDIO said.
