Need Help

Hey Guys, I need help. My mom started crocheting and she wants to start making cute figures but when it come to counting and making the circle round she messes up and I’ve tried everything I can think of. Do y’all have any suggestions video for beginners. Because she is telling me that her hand arent executing what her brain understands

It starts out round but then gets waves to it. I have told her thats because she adds an extra stitch but… mainly she doesnt understand the counting part and the correct stich names and adds other things into her piece.

I recommend on YouTube the woobles crochet tutorial videos, you might have to search a lot, because they are from a couple years ago, but I’m a beginner and their videos help me understand so much!

Is she using a stitch marker? Counting stitches is an important part of crochet. Have her keep trying.

Stitch markers definitely!

Possibly the wrong size hook? Tension can do that. Maybe a different yarn color could help see where the stitches go?
