New corset crochet pattern

So I’m testing a crochet pattern I found but I need help trying to figure out a way to chain the back of it off any ideas will help thank you ps for anyone that wanted to know it’s a double crochet corset belt

Maybe like chaining however long u want it then sc back down the chain to make it stronger or something like that. I’ve personally never crocheted a corset so I’m not sure if it’l work. Just thought I’d try to help.
