My take on a not quite so original idea, lol! I loved what I was able to learn with this guy, mostly in how I can use different stitches for shaping. For example, to get more of a flatter oval than a round ball for the body, I did a hdc, linked dc, linked hdc, then a sc on opposite sides where I wanted the shoulders. This along with a few well placed increases allowed me to get a firmy stuffed oval instead of having to leave a sphere less stuffed for the same shape. Since the head, body, and tail are all one piece, I wanted to avoid that so everything would hold its shae well over time.
I also tried out using a different hook, 3.5mm instead of 3.75mm! Im not sure whether or not I like it more, I like that there’s less holes, but the definition wasnt quite on par with the 3.75. It could be the yarn, though, as chenille isnt exactly known for its stitch definition, lol.
Speaking of yarns, as always I used Loops and Threads Petite Purl and Skinny Chenille!
