I was thinking about the YouTube video creators that are not on Ribblr finding out that their videos are here (without their knowledge or consent). I hope that this won’t end up being a problem for them
I did successfully import one video on a hexagon cardigan (the same one Loaf posted about a while back)
I have some red heart granny square yarn that I got from Joann’s before they closed that I hope will work well with it
This is for personal use for Ribblr+ members, it’s not up for sale or to be discovered. vPatterns otherwise can be listed by the original creator via a Ribblr shop - this has been available for a few months now.
That’s good, that it’s only for personal use. I would hate it if someone somehow managed to import it here and find a way to pass it off as their own work and take unfair advantage of the original designer. I was hoping that you put some safeguards in place to prevent that
I also have these same concerns. Even if it is for personal use, some designers may see if as missing out on a sale for a pattern. They may even be upset that their content is on a platform that they did not know or consent to.
