Newbie here and have questions about tapestry crochet

I have created an argyle sweater vest pattern, and since there are a lot of color changes I used stitch fiddle to create a chart (I did that before learning about ribblr). The vest is a front panel and a back panel which are then seamed together. Would this pattern be considered tapestry even tho its not done in the round? Thank you for helping me learn about these things! :smiley:

What makes something tapestry is the color changes/ how it’s changed so yes it would be considered tapestry straight or in the round, definitely consider sharing the photo of the argle sweater vest!
