Next Steps on Knitting

Hi there! Just recently I’ve started knitting and Tunisian instead of just crochet. But, I’ve kind of hit a roadblock in next steps. I’ve learned the knit stitch, but I don’t know where to go know to expand my horizons. Does anybody have any tips?

Can you please clarify what technique your are referring to?

Are you knitting (using 2 needles) or are you doing Tunisian crochet?

Do you mean you’ve learned the Tunisian crochet ‘knit’ stitch?

Thanks for clarifying.

So the next step would be to learn the purl stitch.

Once you know both the knit and purl stitches, you can combine them both, in many different ways, to create new stitches ie: Ribbing, stocking/stockinette stitch and so on.
