Hey everyone! I was looking for some advice. (And testers) I recently posted a tester call and expected to get a lot of applications, like my calls have in the past. But instead I only got two! Any ideas why or how I could boost the amount of people that test my patterns? I just wanted to create a cute pattern that a lot of people would love!

well, usually I wait a few days, because some people don’t see it right away, and you could also ask people if they’d like to test in General or Craft chat!
Tbf I don’t see your tester call, could be that you posted it when a lot of creators posted their and it wad missing between the many calls?
Could you link it here?? The past week or so alot of creators have been putting out tester calls due to the ribblr challenge.
I am not sure how to sign up to test patterns. I have tried to sign up for a few to no avail, but I am fairly new to this platform
you follow the requirements that they listed (commenting yarn colors, hooks, yarn types, and emoji to show you read requirements, etc.) and click on the photo to apply! it’s not a 100% guarantee that you’ll get chosen though
Well you could add a requirement of tagging a few friends (only those who want to be tagged ofc) but what pattern is it, I might be able to test!

I can’t remember seeing your test call.
But a couple of things from someone who tests.
It could be a short due date.
It might be missed if too much choice of tests
Or people already committed to lots of tests.
My advice for what it’s worth put your test call up again and see what happens.
Do not let this dampen your hopes and creations.
