October Crochet Challenge!

Hey friends! It’s October 1st so I’m back with yet another crochet challenge! Everyone else is coming out with fall/spooky season patterns but that’s not really my style so I wanted to make this month have halloween-free prompts!

This month is a little different from my previous challenges because it is extra customizable! If you’re into spooky patterns, there are so many ways that you can incorporate those and if you’re not, that’s fine too!

The October challenge revolves around the theme of: COLOR! There are 8 different colors in this challenge: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, and a neutral. Every few days, I will share some patterns that are primarily a certain color. But it doesn’t stop there! You don’t have to use the patterns that I share! You can use whatever pattern you like! So if there is a purple pattern on your wishlist that you just haven’t made yet, now’s your chance!

You may be asking, can I make a pink whale or a green spider? Yes, but I think that it would be a lot more fun to step away from our comfort projects and think of something a little different. Try and go for patterns that would typically be that color, like a yellow bee or a pink flamingo. I bet not many of you have made a blue peacock before! (Pattern by me coming soon if you’re interested:wink:)

At the end of the month I will spin a wheel with the names of anyone who completes all 8 challenges! If the pattern is on ribblr, please take a few minutes to post a journal so that the creator can see your amazing work! Entries must be during October so if you really like a plushy that you made last week, I’m sorry but it doesn’t count. Please try to avoid working ahead so that we can have fun together all month!

If you have any questions about this challenge, comment them below! If you have questions about future challenges (or anything else) pm me! :yellow_heart:

one more question, do you have to make a project for that color every day, or just once for that color period

I would hope it is just one for the color since there are only a few days for each color.

Ooh fun! Im kinda new to this challenge thing.
Does the thing we make have to be fully yellow/whatever colour it is for the week or can it have some other colours too,
for example if I make a lemon but it has a black colour tophat does that entry count?

Also if I make 3 items in one week do I get 3 entries for the spin wheel or 1?

Thank youu!! :yellow_heart:
