Hey friends! It’s October 1st so I’m back with yet another crochet challenge! Everyone else is coming out with fall/spooky season patterns but that’s not really my style so I wanted to make this month have halloween-free prompts!
This month is a little different from my previous challenges because it is extra customizable! If you’re into spooky patterns, there are so many ways that you can incorporate those and if you’re not, that’s fine too!
The October challenge revolves around the theme of: COLOR! There are 8 different colors in this challenge: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, and a neutral. Every few days, I will share some patterns that are primarily a certain color. But it doesn’t stop there! You don’t have to use the patterns that I share! You can use whatever pattern you like! So if there is a purple pattern on your wishlist that you just haven’t made yet, now’s your chance!
You may be asking, can I make a pink whale or a green spider? Yes, but I think that it would be a lot more fun to step away from our comfort projects and think of something a little different. Try and go for patterns that would typically be that color, like a yellow bee or a pink flamingo. I bet not many of you have made a blue peacock before! (Pattern by me coming soon if you’re interested)
At the end of the month I will spin a wheel with the names of anyone who completes all 8 challenges! If the pattern is on ribblr, please take a few minutes to post a journal so that the creator can see your amazing work! Entries must be during October so if you really like a plushy that you made last week, I’m sorry but it doesn’t count. Please try to avoid working ahead so that we can have fun together all month!
