Hi! Is anyone else having trouble with Ribblr changing the colors in the photos you use on patterns? Itās fine sometimes (and with certain colors), but there are times when my photos look way too saturated and they also kind of lose their texture, which makes them look strange. Does anyone know if thereās a way to fix that?
Iāve noticed this as well, not sure how to fix it though
This happens to me too. I also have a terrible camera tho, so I donāt know how much is Ribblr
Yeah Iāve noticed that, not sure why.
Hi,
Can you upload an example? Not sure what you mean.
Note that on every upload, you have a phase in which an image editor is opened for you to āplayā with any filter you may need.

Yesss the colors look too bright :(
Sure! So far Iāve mainly faced that problem with pictures that have red in them, like the one below:
This is the original picture (except itās a bit dulled. I think posts tend to dull photos slightly)
It seems fine on posts/topics, so Iām only having that problem on patterns I post, whether itās progress or cover pictures. Iāve tried editing some of my photos beforehand and making them duller or darker to offset the change when it uploads, but I canāt really do anything for some of the pictures. Iāve also tried using the image editor to see if that helps, but it doesnāt seem to. Even when I donāt edit photos, it still has the same result. Itāll show me how it looks, and it seems fine. But once I click āsaveā and the picture uploads, it looks different.
Just wondering if thereās something I can do to fix it!
Sorry for the trouble, and thank you!
Yeah. It completely changed the color of my ogre, and a few other projects colors were messed up, even though I delicately plan what to use. This is really upsetting sometimes
Thx. Whatās that patternās name and line (so we could look into that specific image)
Weāre trying to figure out if thatās a compression issue, where you load a huge image and the auto-compress changes it a bit.
Also note, I suppose you know, that colors on your browser might might look a little different than the photo viewer you have.
Many thanks,

Itās an unreleased pattern that Iām currently working on. But I managed to edit the original photos again and make it so that they still retain their texture and are pretty much the right color after theyāre uploaded, so it worked out.
Yup!
Hi,
Can you share an example from your patterns (i.e patternās name). It will help us a lot investigating. Any patternās cover image will do.
Thx,
