I want to make a little lemon wedge but I don’t know how to make the curved outer side ‍
. I don’t want to make it a slice can someone help or maybe send me some pattern that could help me ?
do you want it no sew?
I don’t mind, I would prefer it no sew but any way would work with me
okay so i think you need to make 2 fronts and 1 side
then you can sew it together
maybe you could make a really stretched out hexagon shape? like a rectangle with a triangle on either side? here’s smth i tried to put together rq
(triangle pattern courtesy of easycrochet.com)
Row 1: ch 2, in the second ch from the hook sc 2x (inc), turn. (2)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc, sc 2x (inc) into the last st, turn. (3)
Row 3: Ch 1, sc into each st across, sc 2x (inc) into the last st, turn. (4)
keep repeating row 3’s pattern until triangle is desired length; stitch count will increase by one with each row
then, from there, make a rectangle (work back n forth until you reach desired length), and finally start decreasing in the last st of every row. basically u reverse the first triangle to finish it off
not sure how you want to do the inner part of the lemon (magic ring folded in half or two separate semicircles maybe ?) but i’d suggest you make it first so you can size the lemon peel correctly (since it’s gonna “wrap around” the inner piece)
lots of sewing unfortunately but i do think it’s possible
That sounds like a good idea I will definitely try it out… thank you
Could you make a magic circle, chain 1 and reverse directions only using the stitches you need? Then ch 1 and reverse again going back and forth?
I made a watermelon wedge once, I made the two side pieces and a kind of diamond shaped piece for the bottom, then crocheted the sides of the diamond to the curved edges of the side pieces. If any of that makes sense lol.
Basically what @jinas said.
I will also try that thank you so much
