Pattern help pls! "Grown up patterns"

Hi!
So my school is (among other things) organizesing a parent dinner and there will be a lottery. I was asked to crochet something for it and i was wondering if anyone could give me a pattern recommendation
(It is only parents there so i would like to have some more mature patterns)

Maybe you could make a tote bag or laptop case? You could make it both cute and mature!

Definitely something useful like book covers and coasters and stuff

Like cuz the dinner costs 30$ per parent to attend i would say pretty well off parents and ages like 35 or 40-50

That’s hard, I would make hats. Beanies and bucket hats, maybe also a headband?

I’m not really sure to be honest, maybe accessories like bags which I’m pretty sure was already mentioned or bookmarks etc, you could look at my wishlist but I don’t think there’s much there for that haha
When I saw mature i dont know why I instantly thought about other types of mature plushies and stuff…oops

I’d say beanies and bags

I think a laptop cover or some type of armchair/couch organizer for remotes, ect… would be good because bags, beanies … are more mom type items, where laptop covers/organizers can be both mom and dad type things.

things like crocheted plants, hats, bookmarks, coasters, potholders, washcloths, scarves, wall hangings, and bags could be good

maybe some purses?

or… really random idea but what if u sold amigurumi but in “family sets”? so eg you could sell two bigger sized penguins with a smaller penguin as if it was a parents + kid family.

If you do much amigurumi… Adults can like plushies too! I’m 30 and I find making and selling plushies to be healing for my inner child. Or, maybe they have kids they need future gifts for. Just to say that you don’t have to try extra to be “mature,” making whatever you enjoy and are confident making would be great. This is just me, and I’m not a parent so idk if that affects my feelings, but I’d be way more excited to get a cute handmade plushie than just about anything else.

I was thinking like some sort of case , like maybe for earpods (idk if its possible thoo?) Or like a pillow case. OR LIKE A BOX ORGANISER THINGY,heh, so they can put in hairbands, or makeup, a household friendly organising thing to put small belongings into.:sweat_smile::sweat_smile::sweat_smile::sweat_smile:

I know this isn’t what you are looking for but I find that that age actually love little amigurumi like bee’s penguin’s etc. so you could still make some

You could always try to crochet something nostalgic for them. Like something from a cartoon or popular movie from their generation? Maybe try tapestry crochet/graph crochet. Could also do tablerunners, coasters, scarves, small throw blanket, etc…
