, but I’m a beginner and I think I’d like to give making a pattern a try - I know it’s gonna be hard but yeah 
I was thinking of making my own viral floppy ferret pattern but for free (or would that be copyright lwk even tho it’s my pattern???) or something else!!
Does anyone have any ideas?

If you don’t copy instructions or the Name it won’t be copyright. Maybe you could name it Flops the Ferret or something like that
. I really like the idea maybe you could design a pattern for an otter in the same style or a sugar glider.
You also have to change the text and be transparent and write that the pattern is inspired by Floppy the ferret. You also should find your own proportional to make it look like it and you have to make the ferret visible different.

If your using the idea, but having a different pattern, then it wouldn’t be considered copyright! Also be sure to change the name so people don’t think your copying but just using the same idea
