For some clarification, ai backgrounds are allowed here, just not ai generated photo of the product. So this pattern is fine as is!![]()

That’s all the cat emojis I have that are just faces. Lol
Ofc! I remember the Suzy the bird chapstick holder tester call lol! And the new pics look great btw!
This is so cute
i’d apply if I had earbuds to put in it
but good luck with testing!
I think something similar happened recently to another creator (using AI for the background but not the product) and their photos were still taken down by Ribblr.

Their policy only explicitly mentions being able to use AI for text used in marketing, or images not relating to the pattern (like shop banners). It’s probably safest for people to just avoid using AI at all in product photos (especially with the Ribblr community’s general dislike of images with any hint of AI to them).
There was a discussion with Ribblr a little while ago and they confirmed that ai backgrounds were fine. ![]()
Interesting, do you know if it was a private or public discussion? It seemed they were against it in that thread which was pretty recent. Maybe it varies from case to case depending on the image ![]()
Public discussion. ![]()
really sorry for thinking that was AI, but it looks amazing!!!
Do you happen to have a link to it (I’m just curious)? I struggled to find the topic I referenced when searching for it, so I don’t think I’d have a chance I’ve finding one I haven’t seen before without knowing the right key words ![]()
I’d love to test this, I have some cat loving little cousins who’d probably be requesting many cat faces. lol.
