So you know when you apply to be a tester for something, and If they select you, you get added to a gc and you get a notifacation? Can we also get a notification if we don’t get chosen? A lot of people who post their things they want people to test say they will choose testers soon and don’t give a date, so I want to know whether they chose me or not. Could we please get a notifcation letter by for example ribbot bot or some other automated message, saying something like “Thank you for applying, but unfortunately your tester application for @ username for (pattern name) was declined/rejected”. Thank you!

yeah, this would be useful. I try not to apply to more than two test patterns at a time because I know I don’t have much time to crochet, but it’s hard to gauge how much time to let pass before deciding I’m not getting picked for one

This needs to exist! It would be so handy! As a designer, I always tell people when I’ll be choosing testers, and if someone isn’t selected, I send them a friendly message. I usually encourage them to apply for my future tester calls and explain that it wasn’t because their application was bad. It was simply because I could only choose a certain number of testers, and it’s always a really difficult decision
