How do you know if you can test a pattern after applying to be a pattern tester? I’m very new here. Sorry.

So you just need to read the requirements of the test to see if your eligible, then you need to click on the photo apply.
Depending on the test there will probaly be a group chat where you can tell the owner of the patterns any mistakes or unclear thing in the pattern.

Oh and you will probaly need to write a journal with a picture!

The pattern will show up in your testing area under “my stuff” and will eventually be notified of a group chat. Sometimes the designer will issue you the pattern right away and make the group chat later or they may wait until they have all the testers they want/need and then issue the pattern and make a group chat at the same time.

On occasion the author will not make a group chat or notify you at all, in that case you can typically just do the pattern when you see it appear in your testing folder and send them feedback through a private message

Occasionally you may have to remind the designer to make a group chat, but it will eventually be formed. Of the over 270 tests I have done, I think only 1 didn’t have a group chat. Need to have patience and wait for the group chat lol!
