Pattern Writing Help??

Heyy Guys! So I’m trying to write my first pattern on Canva and I have a couple questions, if anyone could answer them, that would be great!

  1. The pattern I’m making is a pattern bundle so does each pattern have to be completely separate with their own materials page and everything, or am I missing something?
  2. Does anyone happen to have some sort of list that has all of the things that I need to include in the pattern like besides the actual pattern, because I feel like there’s more to it than just the pattern, but I’ve never bought a paid pattern so I don’t really know what to do.
  3. Anymore tips an tricks or literally anything that could help me please tell me :sob:

Luv you all! Any of these answers would really help me! and if anyone’s wondering this pattern that I’m making is a 5-in-one pattern pack with mini versions of all the popular animals including a bee, mallard duck, yellow duck, mushroom boy, and a jellyfish. I’m trying to get the pattern on my Etsy shop fuzzymadecreations.etsy.com by Monday :grin:

I would add a material list, and helpful pictures if you can. Also maybe link a yt turioral. Those are just some things I like.

  1. You can add all the materials needed for all of them under one list, then create mini lists of the colors and other materials specific for each plush
  2. Add in pictures of the items (obviously);
  • include the sizing of the yarn and hook, as well as dimensions of the product using your materials so crafters get an idea of sizing
  • Add in a disclaimer about it being your original pattern; not to steal, copy, distribute, etc
  • Include if it’s a beginner, intermediate, or advanced pattern
  • If there are several pieces add is pictures for each (people love detailed pictures)
  • add in your socials for tagging and contact for questions/ concerns
  • include if you use continuous/joined rounds, or if worked in rows
