I’m starting to run out of middle sized safety eyes from my set. I have a bunch of small ones left, which are easy to use up for keychains and stuff, but what shall I do with the big ones (18-24mm)? I don’t have very chunky chenille yarn, hooksize 5 is the max I do, so I rather end up with smaller eyes then the pattern suggests.
Sooo…I need your help. Any ideas for big eyed projects aside from CraftyCellists turtle? They don’t need to be quick makes

Maybe js use a large yarn for a medium project if you like one, then it will automatically be bigger and easier to use the larger safety eyes!!! :3

You could try doubling the size of a pattern, this video has instructions for how to increase it without using chunkier yarn or a larger hook size:

I spent more time then I’d like to admit on browsing etsy earlier today but only found AI pattern or very plain big ones. This designer seems to do a great job with shaping and has creative ideas, that’s much more what I was looking for

Hmm maybe a boba drink plush? U dont necessarily use the eyes for the face but for the boba pearls, maybe that could be an idea?

I would maybe use them to make big plush dragons, aliens and bugs (such as spiders bees ect.) These seem to look good in bigger sizes. 
Like you could make toothless, his eyes are pretty big!
