im using the float method for the first time so im glad to hear you like it! i pick up the unused color every 3 stitches, otherwise i just pull it across the back. I’ll try to get you a picture this afternoon so it will make more sense

no problem! and in case i didn’t make sense, if the color change was for less than 3 stitches (there are several 2 or 1 pixel spaces) i just carry the yarn normally, not picking it up or anything
