Picture uploads

Hey there,
I have trouble with the pictures that I upload being cut and showing wacky.
Is there a premade format to use?
Thanks in advance

I have the most luck with a square. Also not too zoomed in, because it crops a bit also.

Thanks.
I had to add a border to one yesterday.
That worked halfway well.
Still a slight pain in the butt :joy:

The second picture in this one for example.
The others I’ve managed to edit halfway to fit.
I know it’s the format, but now I have to take a whole different set of pics fir Ribblr,… :joy:

This one I’d have to take sideways (bottom to top corner) to get the whole thing in the pic

For the main photo you can use any dimension. For older notes the system automatically shows a ratio of roughly 10x8, but it will zoom on the centre assuming that’s the most important part of the photo

The main photo does the same as the others.
Unless I haven’t found the trick yet on how to change that
I’ll figure it out eventually :joy:
Thank you!

Is it possible that that feature is only available for pattern shops?
Since these are finished items, I only get to choose the pics I upload in the ‘makes’

You are right! Makes do have a fixed ratio as mentioned above. It will focus on the centre of the image but because it is leaning toward a landscape ratio quite a big chunk will be cut out when taking photos in portrait mode.

I hope in the future there might be a chance to change that.
When selling finished Items, showing them in different angles is important

I agree totally!!!

One more thing:
To edit pictures of finished makes for sale, you have to go to the pattern and change your journal there.
That is kind of -uhm - awkward :two_hearts:
