Hello question, what sort of plush yarn does everyone use for amigurimi. I typically use only acrylic because i love making accessories. But i want to start getting into amigurumi as well and wonder what kind of yarn you all suggest, bulky or super bulky? And what brands. Tyia

I use sweet snuggles lite/chenille home slim from Michaels and parfait chunky from premier yarns

Sweet snuggles, loops and threads, feels like bliss, parfait premier, velvet yarn i got on amazon but the walmart mainstays velvet is nice too

From Michael’s sweet snuggles light, and chenille home slim, hobby lobby has a nice chenille and velvet kind, I also buy the chenille from dollar tree.

I get chenille home slim, juicy couture bernat blanket and velvet. i also use plush yarn from the dollar store.

I use chenille from the dollar tree! It is so cheap and pretty good quality!

I typically use hobbii honey bunny but I also love Bernat Baby Blanket. They’re both size 6 (super chunky] but the honey bunny is thinner than the bernat one. Chenille really varies depending on the brand even if it says it’s a size 6.
